![]() ![]() ![]() As always, I'm eager to hear your thoughts and feedback. Very promising, but let's see how it will look in the end. Unified Methods: I'm working on creating a unified method for both AI and the player to initiate these unique animations in case the character or NPC is stunned. ![]() AI: The AI needs to know when it can attack or stun, but that's a straightforward fix.So far, it's looking promising, except for the stun visual effect, which I'll need to rethink. I've already implemented some elements of this concept from Corta's Platformer to run a quick test in Herald's environment in 3D. Seduce: In certain cases, seduction can be a persuasive tool. This is a good option when fighting isn't the best choice. Submit: Let the amorous monsters have their way, and they'll eventually doze off for a brief nap, which is your window to slip away. Some might not be as nimble as others due to factors like size. You might also enlist the help of your companions (you may control any character at any time), but be mindful of their abilities. Evade: You can try to sneak around them, sprint through if you're feeling lucky, or find a workaround.Of course, there are several ways to advance in this journey: It offers a unique twist in that you can progress on your journey by submitting to your attackers, let them rest, and then slip away. From a player's perspective, it's more like a soft obstacle, a situation where you're stuck with these rather amorous NPCs, and you need to find your way out. What sets this apart is that it doesn't automatically end the game like many other games in this genre. The NPC wakes up and attacks the player again.Once all stamina is used up, the NPC goes into temporary hibernation to replenish stamina.During this time, the NPC's stamina depletes. well, let's say, getting cozy with the player. An NPC comes charging to attack the player.I've attached some images from Corta's Platformer so you can get a visual on how this works: So that I can put it on my list. Im enjoying the game, all Ive asked is for the true SOURCE of those characters. This is your golden opportunity to escape and move forward on your adventure. In my previous posts, did I ask anything about changing the design of those characters according to their official design No. After they've had their way with you, these creatures will find themselves drained of stamina and forced into a temporary slumber. During this time, your character won't be able to move for a short period, which is long enough for those relentless enemies to get up close and personal. Each hit you take chips away at your stamina, and once it's depleted, you find yourself in a state of vulnerability or immobility. These foes can dish out some serious damage pretty quickly. So, what's this all about? Well, in a nutshell, it's about the main character embarking on a perilous journey through a world filled with enemies and monsters. You can check out that game here: Corta's Platformer. It's an idea I stumbled upon in a game called Corta's Platformer, and it caught my attention. but that's just my two-cents for a 'let's not get in over our heads with plot there, FF13' plot >.I wanted to share some more details about a gameplay element that I've been eager to implement from the get-go. and baddies >.> Thus making buying things and the end-game closer!. or expansion? Or it could be a mad-ass dungeon (I regret nothing) with equally cool loot. Fixing/Finishing it would help advance some mysterious plot you've cooked up as it leads to a new land/territory. Heck, you could use that bridge as a high point. You can set up a shot to sell said loot and either keep it or buy crap (armor, health, new costume, services(?) etc). Anywho, from there you can focus on dungeon-building for end-dungeon loot. Before all that however you talk to the chief, who gives you a home (among other things). Anywho, with a new goal now in the game, you go off dungeon-crawling and doing what you must to get off the planet. So they ask for a huge amount and tell you to reactivate the beacon when you have the amount, or otherwise they'll leave the planet and never come back. Some time passes and, yay, someone comes! But. So we go about getting Ridley's beacon (making use of what we already have) and set it up. To do that click on her clothes to make it vanish piece by piece. Maybe the only way to get off the ship is via beacon to contact a passing vessel. Cortas Platformer - A game with fighting AND sex from your favorite characters. Go to a dungeon -> Get the prize at the end -> Sell at a shop or something But that would also imply that there'd be a currency system in the game.er, let me toss a quick plot at you. ![]() I'm sure everyone will settle for a simple dungeon/reward game. ![]()
